Basic Workflow

1. Open HapiPic Pro and choose “Bulk File Renamer”.
2. Prepare source images, asset files, project folders, or configuration files.
3. Set input, output, size, format, naming, preview, and run options according to the parameter reference.
4. Test with a small batch and confirm that preview and output match the expected result.
5. Save the configuration, then run the program.
6. Check the software log during processing and review the output folder after completion.

Parameter Reference

Source folder

Folder containing files or folders to rename.

Include subfolders

Includes files inside nested folders.

Subfolder mode

Controls whether subfolder structure is flattened or preserved.

Flatten name mode

Controls naming when subfolders are flattened.

Rules list

Rules are applied in order to generate new names.

Rule type

Controls operations such as replace, add, delete, or numbering.

Enabled

Turns a rule on or off.

Apply to

Applies a rule to file names, folder names, or both.

Find and replace

Maximum output count

Limits how many files are generated or processed in one run.

Clear output folder

Removes existing output files before running. Use only when old results are not needed.

Save config

Stores the current settings for this feature. Save before running a batch.

Run program

Starts the task. If a task is running, the same button may stop it.

Software log

Shows progress and errors. Check this first if generation fails.

Output and Run

Before running, make sure the output folder exists. If clear output is enabled, confirm that the folder does not contain files you need to keep. For large jobs, use a dedicated output folder for review, archiving, and regeneration.

Why were fewer files processed than expected?

This is usually related to source file count, maximum output count, filters, sorting, or mode settings. Check the input folder and quantity limits first.

Why does the output differ from the preview?

Check size, crop mode, compression quality, background, text placement, sorting, output format, and the preview sample.

Should I overwrite original files?

Use a separate output folder and replace originals only after checking the generated results.
